Uniforms
While engaged in Navel operations duties, all Navel personnel must wear the Slabovian Navey uniform. During long missions aboard ships that employ a watch rotation, personnel may don civilian attire while off duty.
There are four standards of dress for Slabovian Navel Officers as follows:
DUTY DRESS (for regular duty including time at sea)
- Black pants - not jeans (or black skirt – women only...except maybe for black kilts)
- Dress shirt with epaulettes (any colour) or black Navel windbreaker with any shirt underneath, or wooley-pulley with epaulettes (any colour), each with Approved Insignia
- Black shoes or boots (not sneakers)
- Black ball cap with ship crest and "scrambled eggs" on the brim is optional for ship and fleet commanders
SERVICE DRESS (for courts-martial and diplomatic functions, or when you just feel like standing out)
- Black pants or kilt(men), black skirt (women)
- White dress shirt with epaulettes, with Approved Insignia
- White peak cap with Navey cap badge (no gold braid on peak for junior officers, one row of gold braid for senior officers, two rows for Admiralty)
- Black dress shoes
TROPICAL DRESS (for use in the tropics, or just on those really hot, sunny days)
- White short-sleeved bush jacket with belt and Approved Insignia
- White pants
- White peak cap with Navey cap badge (no gold braid on peak for junior officers, one row of gold braid for senior officers, two rows for Admiralty)
- White dress shoes
MESS DRESS (for formal functions and command performances)
- Tuxedo with gold sleeve braid and shoulder boards
- Full medals/Orders optional
